The Final Step in Bridging the Gap
Ukrainian Hub
When we launched Wardrobe Wonga in March 2022, we set ourselves the goal to ensure there was a clear route from collection to where items end up once a selling period ends. We also wanted to ensure that there was an element of charity to our business.

Around the time of planning this, Russia declared war on Ukraine and UK residents opened their homes to refugees. We saw an opportunity to help and reached out to a Ukrainian hub in Mangotsfield - Bristol which is held for families every Friday to support, provide a safe place to socialise, find friends and for children to play with others.
We pitched Wardrobe Wonga and where we could help with the clothing donated by clients. To which the hub leader was thrilled to welcome us. Almost immediately we were in action and we still visit the hub on a bi-monthly basis, popping up a rail and seeing first hand the positive impact quality clothing has on families who have very little since coming to the UK.
Bristol Food Bank
Our second charitable partnership is with The Trussell Trust Food Bank. We visit food banks in the Bristol and South Gloucestershire area on a monthly basis, again popping up a rail and donating clothing to families in crisis. Ensuring we post on our social media platforms so our clients can see where their unsold and lovingly donated items go.
We pride ourselves on the work we do for charities and continue to sustain, whilst our business is growing.
